Better Lumber for Better
Swing Sets
The trees harvested for the
lumber used in our products come from managed woodlands. Each piece of
lumber is hand selected, and wood that does not meet our "swing
grade" is rejected and sold back to the lumber industry. Each year we
reject more wood than many playset companies use.
Safety

Over the past four
decades, Creative Playthings has helped pioneer many of the safety
features that have become industry standards; special powder coated steel
brackets at key stress points; rust resistant hardware; specially designed
plastic hardware caps to fit flush with the surface of the wood, covering
unsightly nuts and bolts and eliminate exposed bolt threads; nylon bushing
swing hangs; and our newest - a molded plastic glider to help reduce the
risk of impact related mishaps. When it comes to SAFETY, we never
stop innovating.
Factory Sanding and Staining Make

Natural Line product lines are carefully sanded and stained with our
"time-tested" exterior water-repellent wood stain to help your playground
look better and last longer. Whether you choose a natural line swing set,
or a rugged pressure treated special pine product, you can be confident
that your playground will resist decay or wood rot for years
to come.
